Our Programs

Suffolk Islamic Center is proud to offer a variety of activities for the youth and adults to help motivate an Islamic Environment that is pleasing to Allah SWT. These activites include Quranic Education, Islamic Studies, Friday Halaqa, and more.


Education

Suffolk Islamic Center is committed to engaging our community in Islamic education. This can range from learning Dua's and Quran to Hadith's and Seerah.

Interfaith

We help new Muslims in our community learn about Islam. We slowly teach them about Islam, and teach them how to preform Salah, read Quran, and other acts of worship.

Education

Quranic Classes

Tuesday to Thursday; from 6:00PM - 8:00PM
We teach our youth how to read and memorize the Quran. For younger children, we teach the basics of reading.

Arabic Classes

Monday; from 6:00PM to 8:00PM
On Mondays, we teach our youth how to read, write, and speak Arabic.

Dua and Hadith

During our weekday classes, we teach our students new Dua's and Hadith's daily, that they can implement in their life,

Weekend Islamic School

Sunday; 10:00 - Duhr Salah
On Sunday, we have our Islamic school were our students learn about Islamic Studies, Quran, Wudhu, and a lot more. Snacks are provided for the children.


Community Events


Friday Halaqa

Every Friday after Isha

Our weekly Friday Halaqa is great for learning Seerah, Islamic Lifestyle, and much more. This Halaqa is for Brothers and Sisters. Potluck dinner is served, and you are encouraged to bring in your own dish.

Suffolk Islamic Center offers Friday Jumah Salah. The Kutbah is given by various assigned speakers, and the Jamah is at 1:30PM.
